The Pentagon Memorial - Arlington National Cemetery

The Pentagon Memorial - Arlington National Cemetery

Alexandria - VA

May - 2015

One of my hobbies includes browsing Skyscanner for cheap travel deals to see where in the world I can visit next - so I obviously had to purchase flights to DC when the opportunity presented itself!
We regretfully only had a few hours to explore Alexandria - the cemetery itself could have been a half-day excursion. Turns out symmetry in design is mesmerizing, making each site impressively stunning.

Rosa & Ross

Rosa & Ross

Botanic Gardens - Fort Worth, TX
March - 2015

Rewind to summer 2012 - fresh out of college, sitting on a stinky bus in Houston after a long day of Teach For America Institute, Rosa & I discussed a handful of things: the stressfulness that was teaching, our wanderlust (she had just returned from a few months of travel in Europe), & most memorably, the guys that were currently in our lives. She mentioned a someone special from College Station (hi Ross). Fast forward to present-day, cue the engagement.

Congratulations Rosa & Ross, I am so very excited for you both!

While exploring the city, Funded By Photos gave me a challenge - take an interesting photo with an Avoca cup anywhere on Magnolia. Thank you skater friend Alex for hopping over my cup & helping me win the #InstaRace15 contest!
